New I-75 Interchange. Bidding on new 49th Street I-75 interchange in north Ocala is to begin in June 2025. Realistically construction will not be completed until sometime in 2027 which also will probably be the year the planned Buc-Ee's will finally open. Adjacent road work is also in process and necessary for the interchange to be functional.
